The University of Murcia will launch a new joint program of official undergraduate education in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education.
This is one of the agreements adopted in today's session of the Governing Council.
This joint program of teaching will begin its journey in the 2019/20 academic year and is coordinated by the Faculty of Education.
The proposal for a protocol for the creation and management of Teaching Innovation Groups has also been approved, as well as the setting up of a consultative commission on quality matters under the Governing Council.
In addition, the Rector has informed about the public prices that will be applied to the credits in the undergraduate and master's degree studies, after the agreement reached with the Autonomous Community last week.
It has also given green light to 136 agreements of Educational Cooperation so that students of the UMU can do internships in companies.
Another of the matters that have been approved today has been the Action Plan of the Office of Entrepreneurship, which contemplates the convening of several awards, such as a contest of entrepreneurial ideas;
project-oriented awards;
awards for the best TFG and TFM aimed at creating a company;
and Awards for the best teaching innovation on entrepreneurship, among others.
In addition, several training projects will be carried out, as well as a few days of entrepreneurship in the different faculties of the University of Murcia.
Along with the approval of the Regulation on the procedure of change of name of common use, for internal purposes, of transsexual, transgender and intersex people, Management has presented the new procedure for the processing of minor contracts for works, services and supplies at the University of Murcia.
The public prices of Colegio Mayor Azarbe have also been approved for the 2018/2019 academic year.
The Governing Council has agreed to the adaptation of the academic calendar 2018/2019 of the Faculties of Law, Nursing of Cartagena and Sociosanitarias Sciences of Lorca and to various agreements signed, among which those related to the activities of the International University of Sea in the headquarters of Totana, Mula and Pliego.
