The Municipal Socialist Group has once again denounced the "unfortunate" state in which many lots of the municipality are located, so it again demands a crash plan to clean them up and keep them in condition, "not only for aesthetics but because they represent a great risk to health, as they are usually pockets of unhealthiness and are even a fire hazard especially now in summer, "explains Councilman Enrique Ayuso.
Along with the pedáneo mayor of San Ginés, Jesus Pintado, has returned to denounce the illegal dump located in the street Schools, a few meters from the Public School, so the PSOE requires the City of Murcia to clean or have clean this site to their current owners "since over the years it has been used as an illegal dumpsite a few meters from an educational center and a garden frequented daily by hundreds of neighbors".
In addition, Ayuso pointed out that the site must be ordered urbanistically that it has to have a new road, prolongation of the Escuelas street, a round one and the connection with the West Industrial Estate.
Also, warns that a year ago the PSOE has been asking for a plan of shock for the cleaning of private lots and believes that the City has to set an example with the public plots and proceed to strengthen technical and economic resources, in addition to promoting the cession of lots for municipal use and raise awareness among owners.
It is not the first time that the Socialist Group denounces the state of the plots and, in fact, has filed several motions, including requesting the launch of an awareness campaign aimed at owners and users of private plots in order to keep them fenced and clean.
Similarly, the mayor, who appreciates the effort made from the municipal boards in the identification of poorly maintained sites and in the notification to owners, proposes "the signing of temporary assignment agreements of private lots so that they can provide various services in our districts and neighborhoods, so that while the assignment lasts can be maintained by the City Council itself.
