Another important novelty is that the master's degrees will be totally free for victims of gender violence and "for the people who depend on said victims".
The University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena will reduce the price of their masters from the next academic year.
The general price reduction will be 11 percent (approximately 170 euros) and will increase to 15 percent (approximately 280 euros) in the case of the scientific and technological master's degrees, as well as the masters taught in foreign language and bilingual.
This was announced today at a press conference by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Luján Alcaraz, accompanied by the president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, and the rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Díaz Morcillo.
Another important novelty is that the master's degrees will be totally free for victims of gender violence and for "the people who depend on these victims", as explained by the rector of the UMU.
Luján has shown his satisfaction with this measure, which will benefit nearly 2,700 students and will affect the 71 UMU master's degrees and the 19 UPCT masters.
This initiative will be launched from the next academic year 2018/2019.
