The seminar 'Precarious work of teaching and research staff: a vision with a gender perspective' will take place next Monday, July 16, in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Labor Sciences.
Throughout the presentations and round tables, which will take place in morning and afternoon sessions, issues such as the problem of the associated teaching staff, the controversial figure of the university lecturer and the work or service contracts associated with research projects will be addressed.
In addition, the gender perspective will have an important role, since the afternoon session will focus on aspects such as professional promotion, family and work conciliation and gender biases that exist in higher education.
The closing of the seminar will take place at 8 pm and will be attended by José Luján Alcaraz, rector of the UMU;
Prudencio José Riquelme Perea, dean of the School of Labor Sciences;
Mª Carmen López Aniorte and Francisca Ferrando García, co-directors of the seminar and professors of the Labor Law and Social Security Department.
