The Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, directed by Rebeca Pérez, is still working to improve the lighting of the municipality of Murcia and therefore this week is working on works of different depth in Corvera, Lobosillo, El Puntal and Los Garres.
In the pedestrian urbanization area of ​​Los Rectores, in El Puntal, the luminaires will be replaced, changing the existing ones, which will produce glare and light pollution by other decorative LED types.
A total of 66 new luminaires of 39 W will be installed, generating a saving compared to the current ones of 61%.
62 columns will be repaired, with a treatment at the base of the column, for the elimination of rust and metallization, projecting and melting an aluminum layer on the current sheet.
The finish is with clear anti-graffiti varnish.
In addition, four columns will be replaced that can not be recovered.
The winning company is Ingenalium, SL for an amount of 26,819.75 euros.
The total consumption is 2,574 W.
The reduction in electricity consumption is 17,000 kwh, equivalent to 3,000 euros per year and the reduction of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere is 8.5 tons per year.
This week we are also working on Corvera, improving the lighting on Calle Mayor, Finca Villar and the La Murta road, among others.
In Lobosillo, specifically on the E-9 highway and in Los Garres, on the road to Los Forestales.
Other improvements in lighting
In the industrial estate of San Ginés lighting is being replaced by replacing 377 luminaires with LED technology that will save 65%, six new LED spots will be installed in the Gregorio Ordoñez sports center in Santiago el Mayor and will be improve the lighting of the facade of the Almudí Palace.
The Palacio del Almudí improves its lighting, being similar to the one existing in the building annexed to the Town Hall.
It is installing a programmable dynamic lighting, in color, that allows to perform lighting games on the facade.
To this end, linear projectors with RGB LED technology of 11, 22 and 33 W are being installed;
a floodlight projector with RGBW LED, 43 W above the existing street lighting column, and a projector to accent details of 56 W, warm white.
The total power is 1,232 W.
For its part, in Los Dolores, in the Lane de la Enera, the existing public lighting installation is being renovated, which is more than 30 years old and has low lighting performance, for which 41 light points will be installed. 50 W on a metal pole of 8 meters.
The total consumption is 2050 W, the budget is 33,900 euros.
And finally, in Guadeloupe, the installation of lighting that affects the Almazara Lane and the Torre de los Lorentes crossing is being improved.
The Lane of the Oil Mill (parallel to the West Round, with high flow of circulation), will be installed 24 luminarias with technology LED, 44,5 W of power, taking advantage of the columns and the electrical lines of the highway.
The crossing of Torre de los Lorentes, which runs between the Guadeloupe core and the Lane de la Almazara and does not have public lighting, will be installed 26 luminaires with LED technology, 44.5 W of power on existing columns or facades as well as on metal posts of 8.20 m.

Likewise, a new Command Center will be placed.
The installed power, including the consumption of electronic ignition equipment, is 2,500 W. The budget amounts to 56,450 euros.
