The Urban DNAs leave nearly 3,000 proposals in the neighborhood of El Carmen and more than 600 in La Paz after carrying out activities to collect ideas such as walks, agoras, work tables or children's participation The day of participation will feature novelties such as an informal meeting with neighbors with aperitif, a paper on the city brand or a debate on the recovery of public spaces
The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Perez and the Councilor for Pedanies, Participation and Decentralization, Marco Antonio Fernandez, presented this morning the III edition of the Citizen Participation Conference to be held on July 11 and 12 in the Almudí Palace with many novelties.
The participation day will begin this year the afternoon before, on Wednesday, July 11 at 6.30 pm, with a working table that will deal with the 'International Projection of Murcia in the World'.
At 7.30 pm the data and proposals of neighbors collected during the development phase of the ADN Urbano participation in the neighborhood of El Carmen and La Paz will be presented.
"After finishing in both neighborhoods their respective participation phases, we can say that the meeting with neighbors has been a success.
As much in the contributions of the web, the agoras in the squares, infantile participation, the tables of work and the walks of the district of the Carmen we have extracted near of 3,000 proposals in 27 activities.
For its part, in the neighborhood of La Paz we have collected more than 600 suggestions from neighbors in meetings in the places we have done.
With these figures it is fair to thank all the citizens who have been interested in Urban DNA and who have put their two cents in these projects ", Marco Antonio Fernández.
Next Thursday will continue this third day with the development of a presentation and subsequent debate where the expert Rafael Laza will reflect on the city brand at 9.15 hours.
This will be followed by the meeting of the Social Council of the City at 10 a.m. and at 11.30 a working table of 'Recovery of public spaces' will be developed on the rescue of public areas such as squares and gardens to enhance points of coexistence neighborhoods
"The mayor will make his speech at 12.30 to take stock of the management of actions taken in the municipality.
We will end this third day of neighborhood participation with an informal meeting with neighbors with an aperitif to which we invite every year to come, participate and tell us directly to the government team their concerns and proposals ", concludes Rebeca Pérez.
