This is the seventh time that the UCAM Racing Team has been selected to participate in this international event, the most important in the world in the design of ecological cars and low energy consumption, which this year is held in London.
During these first days, the team is finalizing details of the car with which they will compete in the race, which will take place over the weekend, and involving universities and engineering schools across Europe.
Murcia team
The UCAM Racing Team competes with its ecological car, the 'Sun Rider', in the prototype category with electric battery;
it is the Murcian team that has participated the most in this test.
The University has made improvements in its vehicle to participate in this new edition;
For this, modifications have been made to the electrical part, installing a new battery, plates, wiring, etc.
The objective of the team, integrated by students and professors of the degrees in Computer Engineering, Nursing, Engineering in Telecommunication Systems where the initiative was born- Physiotherapy, Journalism, Publicity and Public Relations and Audiovisual Communication, under the direction of Rafael Melendreras, Vice Dean of the Degree in Telecommunications, is to get the best classification.
