The Municipal Socialist Group announces that it will be attentive to the new cadastral review, which has been vindicating since 2012 through a motion in Plenary and later supporting similar initiatives, because it will contribute to correct imbalances between urban areas that have different market value.
Councilman Sebastián Peñaranda, who attended this morning a meeting with the General Directorate of Cadastre on the new presentation of values, states that "this necessary revision of the cadastral values must respond to fair and equitable criteria."
Peñaranda, who recalls that the latest update is from 2001, notes that "we will continue to demand that the PP provide assistance to the most disadvantaged families so that they can face the Real Estate Tax, which is known as social IBI".
Finally, the socialist councilor thanks the work done to the technicians of the Cadastre and hopes that the procedure of informing Murcia about the new values of their homes is simple, clear and detailed.
