During the closing ceremony of the II Promotion of the Master in Spanish Military Law of the Catholic University San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), the director of the Legal Advisory of the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers in Europe of NATO, the Hon.
Mr. Andrés Muñoz Mosquera, won the Serge Lazareff Award Medal to the Captain Auditor Juan Carlos de la Cerra Juan, Director of this official Master, "for his significant contribution to Atlantic Law, for his enthusiasm and dedication, and for his initiative by incorporating the NATO agenda into the official master that he directs, which necessarily forms part of Spanish military law, as well as that of the other 28 members of the Alliance. "
He also affirmed that "the Captain of the Cerra is worthy of this award, which does nothing more than acknowledge his positive work and attitude towards the promotion of Law, even in its most unknown and complex branches such as the Atlantic Law."
De la Cerra becomes the sixth Spanish to receive this important award from the Atlantic Alliance, among which is the current Chief of the Defense Staff, who received it last February and the twelfth in the world, for What the honoree thanked this award to NATO and reiterated its commitment to the dissemination of Atlantic Law in the university world.
