The Catholic University of Murcia has been a protagonist in the Mediterranean Games since its athletes have achieved a total of 31 medals of the 122 that the Spanish expedition has achieved.
Of these, 12 have been gold, where swimming, led by Mireia Belmonte and Jessica Val, has achieved four thanks to the two who have achieved each of them.

In reference to the bronzes obtained, again swimming has been the king sport, by the hand of Miguel Durán and Jessica Val, with one each, and Melania Felicitas Costa, who has won two.
