This day on legal implications of the use of blockchain has taken place this morning in the auditorium of the Moneo building.

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development, directed by José Guillén, has participated in the Conference on legal implications of the use of blockchain in the public sector.
"The blockchain will allow us to transform our political systems and enable very important social changes, bringing us closer to the citizen in terms of data exchange, transparency and trust," said Guillén.
Almost 150 people have participated in these conferences, organized by iDerTec-Research Group of the University of Murcia, where several presentations have been made around the use of blockchain in the public sector.
The first presentation was made by Alexander ZLOTNIK, from the National Institute of Public Administration, followed by Miguel Ángel Bernal, general director of Contracting, Heritage and Organization of the Government of Aragón and Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Zaragoza.
The moderator was Julián Valero, Professor of Administrative Law and coordinator of iDerTec at the University of Murcia.

Murcia City Council is committed to technology
The Murcia City Council is involved with this issue and collaborates with the University of Murcia in a pilot of smart cities within the project H2020 IoTCrawler, in which it will experiment and perform tests with the use of FIWARE-type platform and the treatment of the confidence in the data stored through the use of blockchain technology.
In addition, the City Council has supported the Murcian Blockchain Association, in the Urban Inteligence Conference, which had nearly 1,000 participants in the Victor Villegas auditorium.
In addition, a working table was developed on this topic, aimed at cities.
Also, on the occasion of Internet Day and with the collaboration of professional colleges of computer engineers, the University of Murcia, the Autonomous Community and technology companies, in the Plaza Circular an open classroom was organized with a debate on 'Blockchain, digitization of the trust 'with people in charge of the Blockchain Open Lab that Murcia City Council brought to Murcia.
