As a result of the agreement signed by the Catholic University of Murcia and the MAD Lions EC team, Jesús 'Falco' Pérez becomes the first player in the 'League of Legends' to receive a scholarship from the UCAM.
He will study the Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) from a distance and will be supported by the same model as the traditional elite athletes, so he will have a personalized tutorial with which he will plan his academic itinerary based on his competitive load.
Falco joins Gravesen, FIFA player, and youtuber Mago Ángel, in this new batch of 'influencers' who arrive at the University and can combine higher education with the many hours they dedicate to their professional activity thanks to the model created by UCAM for elite athletes.
Falco himself was very grateful but aware that "it's a responsibility because whenever you get a scholarship you have to give everything you have, it's a great opportunity that my club and UCAM give me and I want to take advantage of it".
Gonzalo Wandosell, dean of the Faculty of Legal and Business Sciences of the UCAM, congratulated Falco for his incorporation to the Degree in ADE: "Until now only the sports dimension of eSports is known and is about to explore the business dimension: business opportunities that are around, the image of players, marketing or innovation, someone who is already involved in that world and who studies ADE will have all the tools to grow as a professional. "
