Councilman Juan Vicente Larrosa believes that three months of closure are too many and is something that generates discontent in users, who have begun a collection of signatures for the pavilions and municipal sports centers to provide a longer service in summer
The Municipal Socialist Group claims to optimize the sports facilities and human and technical resources that are made available to users in the face of their demand to continue attending sports at least throughout the month of June and since the beginning of September.
This is claimed by the PSOE councilor Juan Vicente Larrosa, being aware that it is a citizen demand.
Not in vain, users of such facilities, such as the Prince of Asturias, have started a collection of signatures to increase the period of practice.
These same citizens complain about the long queues that have to be done to renew their cards without there being a number system for the line nor can these renovations be made through the Internet.
The Department of Sports closed the season on June 17, even before the end of the school year, and this closing period will last until mid-September, even a few days later than today.
"Murcia and Murcia who come to play sports every day in municipal sports facilities have to stop doing it and wait three months to resume their activity, which is a consequence of poor planning," says Larrosa, "especially when most of the users remain in the city until the end of the month and also since the beginning of September. "
What the PSOE intends to do is advance for the benefit of the neighbors, as has been done with the pedestrian pools at their request.
The Socialist Group claimed that these equipment so demanded in summer to advance its opening at the beginning of June and not in July, as had been happening, and at least this year has achieved that the City has operational these facilities for the public since the middle of this month.
