The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez has visited the district of Lobosillo along with the general director of Roads, Francisco González, the mayoress pedáneo, Mª Carmen Conesa and Manuel Durán, general director of Local Administration.
The construction project of the RM-E14 highway has been put out to tender today for a value of more than 76,000 euros.
This road connects Lobosillo with the N-301 highway (Madrid-Cartagena) and with the hamlet of El Estrecho (Fuente Álamo).
The ditch cleaning will be carried out, as well as the mechanical excavation to get the road widened, then proceed to reinforce the road surface and restore the vertical and horizontal signs.
The Autonomous Community will double the width of the main access road to the hamlet of Lobosillo Murcia to improve their safety.
The action will consist of extending the platform of the road from four to eight meters at the kilometric point where the road narrows in order to avoid the current risk involved in the crossing of two vehicles.
