Since the origin of humanity, science and technology have been present in all areas of life in a necessary way.
In the different sports, specifically in football, the same thing happens, because disciplines such as physics, psychology, artificial intelligence or biology play a fundamental role in football development.
In order to demonstrate to society that science is not only a matter of genius, it is within the reach of all citizens and, bearing in mind, that the World Cup is just around the corner, next Friday the 22nd June at 7:30 p.m., in the Cultural Area Room of El Corte Inglés, the last conference of the cycle 'The UMU and the scientific culture' will take place.

For this I divulge the importance of scientific progress in the development of drugs, food, clothing, mobile devices and other instruments without which it would be impossible enjoy the quality of life that we have, I believe that among many we have achieved a majority of society is clear that behind each of the examples I have cited is science, "says the expert in Biochemistry of the University of Murcia.
"In recent times I have gone a step further and I try to show the citizen how scientific and technological progress is also found in places apparently far away from it, such as a Holy Week procession or a simple cheese sandwich. objective, and taking advantage of the fact that the 2018 World Cup of Russia begins very soon, at the conference on the 22nd it is time to talk about the infinite scientific disciplines that hide the sport of football: football, for this I will use the best scientist who has stepped football: the player of FC Barcelona and of the Spanish National Team Andrés Iniesta ", explains López Nicolás.
