It is not the first time that the mayor Paqui Perez and the president of the Municipal Board, Daniel Hernandez, demand the Directorate General of Roads to act in this roundabout that is abandoned and full of weeds for years
The Councilor for Citizens Paqui Perez has asked Mayor José Ballesta -for a second in fifteen days- to intervene with the General Directorate of Roads, under the Ministry of Development, to proceed to clean and adapt one of the main access roundabouts El Palmar -located on the highway RM-61- abandoned and full of weeds for years.
"It is one of the main access roads to the hamlet," Pérez said, "the usual passage of thousands of residents who travel to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital or to the San Ginés West Estate;
and it is, for a long time, in a deplorable situation, it looks like a jungle ".
In this sense, the mayor of the orange training has recalled that "it is a simple action that we have claimed on more than one occasion, both from the municipal group and from the Municipal Board, through our pedáneo, Daniel Hernández, without that, until now, we have been heard. "
"We hope that the mayor of Murcia mediates before Development and that the General Directorate of Roads show willingness to adapt the rotunda urgently and thus meet the just demands of the residents of El Palmar," Hernandez finished.
