Two Murcia City Council campaigns won at the Publifestival International Competition (16/06/2018)

The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez, has been recognized for the originality and creativity of the 'Do not be Marrano' campaign and the best efficiency in the 'Cooking and recycling competition' campaign 'at the Publifestival International Contest.

In this event, which took place yesterday in Madrid, were representatives of Ferrovial Services and advertising agencies Krealia Communication and Street is yours, which collected the prizes.

The originality of the popular campaign 'Do not be Marrano' for the awareness of street cleaning in the municipality has been recognized.

It should be noted that the prizes awarded correspond to three of the most significant categories of the festival: better originality in the campaign, better efficiency in integrated campaign and better creativity in social event.

"The campaign seeks to avoid incivilities that increase the dirt in the streets of our city, betting on a model of respect between neighbors.The original and gracious image has managed to win the sympathy of Murcia.We are especially proud of the fact that children they recognize the campaign immediately, "explained Rebeca Pérez.

The 'Concurso cocina y recicla' campaign has also been awarded in the category of best effectiveness in the advertising campaign.

The jury valued the impact of the campaign, since it approached the need to recycle correctly in the home to all citizens.

In addition, the message was adapted through humor, with a Kalderas monologue on recycling and Murcian gastronomy.

"This action taught the more than 5,000 participating residents of Murcia and all its districts to recycle in the place of the house where more waste is generated, the kitchen." Among the more than 2,000 typical recipes of Murcian cuisine participating in the contest, the 50 best were selected and the best separation of waste was made.

These 50 chosen were invited to participate in a masterclass offered by the famous cook Susi Díaz.

The International Advertising Festival celebrated its twelfth edition at the Fernando Rojas Theater in Madrid, located in the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
