On June 16 and 17, the 34th edition of the Ciudad de Murcia Swimming Trophy will be held at the Murcia Parque municipal swimming pool.
23 clubs from three different autonomous communities will compete, Castilla La Mancha, Comunidad Valenciana and Región de Murcia.
There will be children's exhibitions, individual and relay events and a solidarity circuit to welcome the best swimmers in Spain
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Sports and Health directed by Felipe Coello presents next to the Murcia Swimming Club on June 16 and 17 in the Murcia Parque municipal swimming pool.
In this edition, 400 federated swimmers will participate, in addition to the Master modality in which 11 clubs and 28 swimmers will participate, with ages ranging from 12-year-old fry to absolute category.
This swimming trophy, which has already served more than three decades, brings together 23 swimming clubs from two autonomous communities, Castilla La Mancha and the Valencian Community, as well as the Murcia Region.
Athletes champions of the Region, Spain and Europe will be measured, who will perform individual and relay events.
The swimmers of the Region of Murcia will represent the swimming clubs of Águilas, Alcantarilla, Alhama, Cartagena, Fuente Álamo, Los Alcázares, Lorca, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, Torre Pacheco and Yecla.
The Club Natación Murcia, organizer of the tournament will present 50 swimmers, of which six have already achieved the minimum marks to compete representing our Region in the Spanish championships to be held in Sabadell, Madrid and Seville in the next month of July.
On Saturday a charity event is scheduled where swimmers from
Club Natación Murcia will be 120 minutes swimming for the benefit of Casa Oikia, a shelter for children.
Throughout the morning of Sunday there will be a children's exhibition and adapted swimming.
The delivery of medals will take place at 2:00 p.m.
