The Spanish canoeing continues writing pages of gold in the international appointments and in his success are participating in a decisive way the paddlers linked to the Catholic University of Murcia.
The European Championship, held in Belgrade, has left seven medals for Spain of which five have had the participation of canoeists from the UCAM.
The gold obtained by the K4 - 500 meters made up entirely of UCAM athletes stands out: Saúl Craviotto, Cristian Toro, Marcus Cooper Walz and Rodrigo Germade.
This boat is one of the great strengths of Spanish sport for Tokyo 2020 and its good feelings are confirmed by the gold conquered in Serbia.
The second gold came from the hand of K2 - 200 meters from Craviotto and Toro.
In K2 - 500 meters, Marcus Cooper and Rodrigo Germade took the silver.
The two remaining bronzes came from the hand of Paco Cubelos (K2 - 1,000 meters) and Javier Hernanz (K4 - 1,000 meters), who along with his teammates also climbed to the European podium.
It is also worth noting the performance of Teresa Portela (4th in K1 - 200 meters) and Sete Benavides (4th in C2 - 200 meters and 7th in C2 - 500 meters).
