The exchange will take place from June 12 to 18 in Rügen, Germany.
Young people from ten countries will participate in the 'Open minds-open hearts: Europe of youth' project, funded by the European Commission. The objective is to learn about current European issues and work in the field of migration and refugees.
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez presents an exchange in which young people from various countries will participate and will take place in Germany (Prora - Rügen), from June 12 to 18.
The meeting is funded by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union.
50 people from Spain, Italy, Ireland, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Romania, Ukraine, Sweden and Germany will participate in this exchange.
Ten groups will be formed, of five participants plus a monitor.
Murcia will attend young refugees, emigrants and Spanish nationals who are volunteers of the Coordinator NGO Region of Murcia.
"Europe is a network of creative, social and intercultural media in which young people want to take part in the creation of a European future, which is why we plan this meeting with many young people from different European countries in Prora (Rügen), for question basic aspects of our reality in a Europe in continuous construction "commented Rebeca Pérez.
They will be able to know the work of public youth organizations and associations working in the field of migration and refugees.
They will also have the opportunity to transfer the political leaders of the area, who will visit the groups, their perspective and conclusions.
Simultaneously there will be possibility for art, music, history, environmental issues, sports such as beach volleyball, water activities and excursions, since the event takes place on the coast.
Afterwards, the young people of Murcia will report on the results of the project in the associations and in the language clubs of municipal youths.
