The Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development is carrying out intensive works of detailed review of the green areas and trees of the municipal swimming pools, prior to its opening.

Thus, several teams, with a total of six people, work with a crane truck as well as specialized machinery.

"What we intend is that users of these municipal facilities can contemplate green areas perfectly equipped and suitable to enjoy a day in the pool," explains the mayor of Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén.

Currently the STV Gestión concessionary company is responsible for the care and maintenance of more than 1,500 linear meters of hedge in the different pools: Espinardo, El Raal, Murcia Park (which is already open), El Palmar, Sangonera La Verde, Aljucer, La Ñora , Infante and Aljucer.

In this way, the City of Murcia complements some care and maintenance work on all the green areas of Murcia and districts, always seeking the use of spaces by the citizens of the municipality.
