The UCAM facilitates personal and academic growth through the forty summer courses offered between Cartagena and Murcia during the months of July, August and September.
They can continue with academic and professional training in different areas such as architecture, which offers university diplomas in bioclimatism and conservation, and contemporary Iberian architecture.
The field of health sciences will include courses such as a summer school for nurses, coexistence of diabetological education or a seminar on psychogeriatry.
As for languages, through the International Relations Department, intensive courses in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese can be studied, as well as the experience of learning English in Ireland.
Another area in which both practical and theoretical knowledge can be increased is that of audiovisual communication.
In this sector it is possible that both students and professionals in the sector can continue their training through workflow film courses in digital production, and operator of crane and hot head, a job in high demand by television companies and film producers .
In the field of sport, so encouraged by the UCAM, courses are also offered both for people who want to practice for leisure, as for those who want to increase academic training.
The realization of a path along the Murcian coast or the course of application of the technologies in athletic training are an example of both.
Apart from academic and professional training, the UCAM also offers on its summer campuses the possibility of helping the most disadvantaged through volunteering in Peru or in an organization of their choice.
In addition, seminars of a religious nature can be held, such as participating as a volunteer in the Pilgrimage of the Fuensanta, carrying out the Camino de Santiago or knowing the figure of Christ through the seminar 'Motus Christi'.
