The Governing Council of the University of Murcia held its first session Friday after the inauguration of José Luján as rector of the teaching institution.
In this first meeting, the governing body of the University has elected the members of its work committees, its representatives in the Social Council and the new members of the board of directors of the company Ticarum.
In addition, the governing body has convened part of the public offer of employment approved last February and has agreed to complete it in the coming months.
For its part, the vice-rector for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society has presented the general protocols of action and agreements with companies and collaborating institutions of the University of Murcia, as well as the report of educational cooperation agreements formalized during the second quarter of the academic year 2017 / 2018 for student internships.
In addition, the collaboration project between the COIE and the different faculties for the development of orientation activities in the next academic year has been presented.
Finally, it has been decided to change the name of the position of academic director of the attached School of Tourism to Dean of the aforementioned center.
