Terra Natura Murcia, in collaboration with the City of Murcia has prepared an intense and innovative summer program, especially designed for families and the youngest
Councilman José Guillén explained that "this year Terra Natura will offer original activities during the summer so that it becomes a space for the whole family to enjoy these dates. We wanted to make special emphasis on those that are not offered in any another site in the Region and that are suitable for a space like Terra Natura ".
The season will begin next June 15 with 'The night of the candles' to enjoy the zoo at sunset as the whole tour will be decorated with 5,000 candles and four musical groups distributed throughout the space.
According to the forecasts, more than 1,000 people will attend.
In Isla y Humedal there will also be different types of tastings since visitors will receive a card with 4 tapas and 4 drinks to be exchanged at the different stalls.
The children will enjoy pintacaras and a lantern workshop in Isla y Humedal.
In the playground of the Plaza de Leones there will be a playroom, from 21:30 to 01:30 hours, for children from 3 years old.
Children can also participate this year in the Summer School, from June 25 to September 5, a combination of zoo, water park and a host of activities designed for children.
This year as a novelty activity is offered for the older ones of animal robotics, music therapy, emotional intelligence, zumba, yoga or personal defense.
Terra Natura will offer the activity of sirens.
Children and adults can wear their mermaid's tail, make up and take a photo to remember.

This activity will begin on June 9, all weekends in June, and in July and August from Wednesday to Sunday, starting at 4:00 p.m.
Children from 6 to 14 years old can live to attend the activity 'Sleeping with Wolves', the experience of sleeping in the park and camping surrounded by animals.
The activity includes night safari, games, workshops, dances, tents, breakfast and swim in the water park, accompanied by monitors.
The dates of the activity 'Sleeping with Wolves' will be on June 29, July 13, July 27, August 17 and August 31 (from 8:00 pm on Friday at 12:30 on Saturday).
