The Catholic University of Murcia has reached an agreement with Terra Natura through which students belonging to the degrees of the Faculty of Health Sciences will have the opportunity to carry out internships at the company's centers.
"It is a generalized agreement, which will allow practice in the areas of health and conservation, as well as collaborations in research," says Gustavo Martínez, director of Terra Natura Murcia.
He also wanted to add that "it is very necessary that the company is interested in students doing internships because it is a mutual benefit because, that a student palpe reality, is an indication that their training is very advanced."
Llanos Martínez, professor of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UCAM present in the signing of the agreement, believes that "it is an implementation in the training process since it allows students to work in the field of research fundamentally".
In addition, he emphasizes that teaching in the classes is important, but the practices are fundamental for the students: "Working with the animals stays engraved in the retina and that the student does not forget".
