Serna: "We have important projects to continue working for the district as we have always done from the Popular Group: thinking about the neighbors and their welfare"

Yesterday night in the Extraordinary Plenary Session of the Municipal Board of Los Garres, he took office as new pedáneo mayor Jorge Serna, of the Popular Group, replacing Antonio Ramírez, of Ciudadanos.

After the ceremony held yesterday, Serna becomes the new President of the Municipal Board with "important projects, as he said, to continue working for the district as we have always done from the Popular Group: thinking about the neighbors and their welfare "

"We have projects ready to improve our parish, one of them will be to launch a participatory process with associations and merchants with the aim of encouraging local trade with various activities, and we are already working on establishing the study room in the casino of Los Garres, or make improvements in sports infrastructures ", Jorge Serna.

Also, Serna presented at the Plenary yesterday several motions, which were approved unanimously, aimed at extolling the figure of the Garreña woman through various initiatives, such as the appointment of a garden or a photography exhibition, among others, to serve as a tribute to the female population of the locality, recognized for their courage, for their struggle and for their work ".

The new president of the municipal council said that "this is a new stage, very exciting, in which we will work every day for our neighbors, so that they feel proud of our parish, giving voice to their proposals and ideas to move forward".
