The regional days of the centers of preferential educational action have been launched with the aim of sharing good practices that have allowed to improve the school success rates in disadvantaged contexts, exposing methodologies and tools that can be applied in other places.
Professors from throughout the Region of Murcia have participated in an initiative held at the Regional Archive and whose inauguration has involved the children of the percussion workshop organized by the Columbares Association in the Los Rosales neighborhood of El Palmar.
This group formed by students from the Santa Rosa de Lima, Los Rosales and José María Párraga centers has starred in a musical performance called Djembelé that has opened the program of the conference.
The percussion workshop is one of the many activities that the Columbares Association develops as part of an intercultural community intervention program.
Through it, the inclusion and creativity of the participants is fostered, working certain values ​​such as patience and concentration, while developing musical mathematics.
The Los Rosales neighborhood project managed by the Columbares Association has funding from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Migration General Directorate.
