The Faculty of Education of the University of Murcia celebrates this Thursday, May 24, the campaign 'Flowers for Davide' to raise funds to help Davide Morana, the young Italian who has lost his arms and legs as a result of meningitis .
To get this help, from 9 o'clock in the morning the entrance of the Faculty of Education will be filled with hand-made candy roses by University staff and that will be sold to all those who pass by and want to collaborate with Davide.
Cecilia Molina, a worker at the University of Murcia, is the mother of the young Italian's girlfriend and her colleagues want to contribute to the cause that the family is promoting.
With the funds raised the intention is to ensure that the young man has access to prostheses that allow him to have a better quality of life.
The campaign 'Flowers for Davide' will be repeated next September.
The story of Davide Morana has shocked the Region of Murcia, where he has lived for a long time, and throughout Spain.
Above all, the young man's desire to continue enjoying life after what happened to him has taken root.
All information about the activities you are developing to obtain funds can be found on the website www.davidemorana.com.
