The professor of the University of Murcia Isabel M. Saura Llamas has been named academic number of the Academy of Sciences of the Region of Murcia.
Isabel M. Saura Llamas has a degree in Chemistry (1986) and a PhD from the University of Murcia (1988).
As a researcher, she was trained in the Organometallic Chemistry group, directed by J. Vicente Soler for many years.
In 1989 he received a post-doctoral fellowship MEC-Fulbright to work at the University of Salt Lake City (Utah, USA).
In 1991 she rejoined the department of Inorganic Chemistry of the UMU, where she has successively occupied the posts of reincorporación scholarship of the MEC, full professor and university professor (since 2011).
In addition to teaching, she has carried out university management tasks, being general secretary of the UMU (1998-2002) and special delegate of the Rector for Normative Development (20022006).
His research focuses on organometallic chemistry.
She is the author of 38 research articles, 33 communications to congresses, a book chapter and a national patent.
He has participated uninterruptedly in 16 competitive research projects, regional and national, from 1986 to the present.
Especially relevant is its belonging to a research group declared of excellence in the two calls of the Seneca Foundation of CARM.
