The Governing Board has today approved the proposal of the Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, led by Conchita Ruiz, to promote the project 'Volunteer Office 2018' in the centers of Murcia South and Murcia North.
This initiative, which has a budget of € 74,000, will intensify the action of volunteering, enhancing and increasing the entire solidarity movement existing in the municipality of Murcia.
In this way, a joint intervention line is established, respecting the particularity of each territorial zone.
The main objective is that this project serves as an instrument of social participation and that citizens become aware of respect for diversity, the defense of the environment or responsible consumption.
The beneficiaries are volunteers from the Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation who participate in various activities aimed at minors, adolescents, immigrants, women, etc.
