The Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, directed by Conchita Ruiz is carrying out, within the Municipal Training Plan, a course on interculturality for fifty ordinances of the City of Murcia.
This course is divided into two groups, each of 29 people, and ends on May 31.
Four sessions will be completed for a total of 20 hours.
The course schedule is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
"More and more, we are faced with the important challenge of managing multiculturalism, the local area is the setting for excellence in which the different challenges of cultural diversity must be addressed and, therefore, we must adequately train our professionals". the councilor Conchita Ruiz.
The course is taught by Accem, a non-profit organization at the state level whose mission is the defense of fundamental rights, care and support for people who are in a situation or at risk of social exclusion.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are attention to the public without discrimination, diversity in the city of Murcia or intercultural communication.
