The Museum of the University of Murcia has organized open days and workshops to commemorate the International Day of Museums, which is celebrated on May 18.
The activities will take place on May 17 and 18 in the former Artillery Barracks of Murcia and are open to all types of public.
The two days will be guided tours by museum staff in the morning and afternoon, as well as workshops for all audiences, especially for children.
On Thursday, May 17 a family chess workshop will be given to bring attendees to act, plan and make decisions while having fun, interact, learn to compete, win and lose.
On the other hand, on Friday 18, the artist Marcos Amorós will offer a painting initiation workshop with the aim of teaching the creative process of light and color to the participants so that they get a close and real vision of the museums.
