The general director of Women and Equality of Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, met today with the Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, María Dolores Sánchez and the Chief Inspector of the Local Police, José María Mainar.
The meeting allows collaboration between these devices to begin, to inform the Center for Assistance to Victims of Sexual Assault Cavax, of the Autonomous Community, to the municipal bodies and to offer them from the Autonomous Community the training for their staff in this area.
Alicia Barquero explained that "the regional network of resources of gender violence provides a personalized and comprehensive attention to women who suffer this violence."
Among the novelties of the device for this year, it is worth noting that the attention of the professionals of the device to other forms of violence against women is contemplated, such as trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, or sexual aggression and abuse, in coordination with other resources specialized in this matter.
