Thousands of people have visited today the six spaces of the historic center of Murcia (Cardenal Belluga Square, Santo Domingo Square, Molinos del Río, Veronicas Wall, Plaza Santa Eulalia and Plaza Julián Romea) where the third edition of ' Pianos on the street '.
Thus, more than 500 people have played the 11 pianos that were distributed in these places.
The youngest children have been able to enjoy an area for children in the Plaza Julián Romea, where a grand piano, two mini pianos and a vertical mini piano have been placed and children's workshops given by the company Klavier.
Also the inaugural concert of the nineteenth edition of the Festival Murcia Tres Culturas, by the group Dorantes, recorded last night a full house in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga.
The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco, stressed "the great welcome again of both initiatives encourages us to continue organizing activities like these that show the interest of Murcia for culture."
"In this way, once again, the aim of the Murcia City Council is to offer its citizens cultural activities on a continuous basis accessible to all publics and free in many cases," added Pacheco.
Tomorrow, Sunday, at 7:00 p.m., the prize ceremony for the Clamo International Piano Competition 'Región de Murcia' will be held, and from 7:20 p.m. there will be a recital for the twelve finalists and accompanying pianists at the Víctor Auditorium. Villegas
