The Fruit and Vegetable Market Pavilions of Mercamurcia have released a new image once the renovation of their façade, access and other structural elements have been completed, as reported by the Councilor for Commerce, Maruja Pelegrín.
This modernization, in addition to improving the corporate image of the facilities, aims to adapt them to the new needs and requirements of marketing and distribution in a sector such as agri-food where it is necessary, in terms of quality and competitiveness, to position themselves in the improvement keep going.
Likewise, the installation of LED technology luminaires has also been completed in the urbanization of the Alimentary Unit, which will allow a considerable saving of electrical energy with the consequent environmental improvement of reducing CO2 emissions.
These actions correspond to the execution of part of the investments foreseen in the Annual Operating Plan corresponding to this financial year 2018 and which includes investments worth over € 500,000, in line with the new Strategic Plan, aimed at converting Mercamurcia into a Food Logistics Distribution Center specialized and professional with the aim of providing quality added value services to our customers and users.
