The Faculty of Letters of the University of Murcia celebrates the International Seminars of Sephardic Studies on May 3 and 4, dedicated to deepen the history, literature and culture of the Jewish community in Spain.
The inauguration will take place on Thursday 3 at ten in the morning in the Chamber of the faculty.
Throughout the two days the invited experts will delve into issues such as the relationship between Jews and health in the late Middle Ages in Murcia, the life of Sephardic communities in Brazil as well as life in medieval Spain.
The conferences will also dedicate part of their lectures to literature, with special attention to poetry about the Holocaust.
