The agreement signed by the president of the Catholic University of Murcia, José Luis Mendoza, and the head of the Medical Oncology Service in the Hospital Complex of Navarra and president of the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, Ruth Vera, has involved a first contact between both institutions to lay the foundations of an agreement in the field of oncology training for medical students and postgraduate students related to this area.
"One of our most important objectives is training for both oncologists and students, we are in a moment of change with the need to incorporate new knowledge and what better way to do it with the Catholic University of Murcia" said the president of the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, Ruth Vera.
Also, and to share what areas are going to be treated by both parties, Enrique González, medical oncologist and professor of Oncology and Palliative Medicine at the UCAM said that "it is an opportunity to connect with the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology and to guarantee that the highest quality is given both professionally and at a human level in the oncology training of future doctors and possibly in postgraduate studies ".
