One more year, the Department of Quality and Modernization of the Administration, Events and Popular Culture, directed by Rafael Gómez, has organized a total of 26 schools during the summer to develop next July.
Of all schools, six (El Carmen, Guadalupe, Sangonera the Dry Grove, Cobatillas and St. Pius X), prepared jointly with the Department of Health and Human Services.
The registration period is from 14 to 18 June, from 17 to 21 hours in each of the centers.
As in previous years, with the collaboration of the departments of Environment and Urban Quality (with the support for all schools for instructors and experts in environmental education, particularly by experienced 1,298 hours of environmental education), Education and Youth (use of public schools) and Sport (use of swimming pools and sports centers.)
In addition, a large group of municipal boards and District Boards collaborate providing financial resources, especially in the management of buses and excursions.
Summer School of the City of Murcia is proposed to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity, organized for all children attending schools with a series of workshops and activities related to this matter.
It offered 1,465 seats of which 350 responded to an approach of working with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Children born between 1998 to 2003, inclusive, can enjoy these activities.
The dates of the schools are from 5 to 23 July and will be open from 10 to 13 hours in general.
The activities, which are related to Environment, Arts, Cooking, Sports, Movies, Theatre, Dance and Dance, science, etc., Are the following:
1 .- To facilitate the implementation of alternative leisure activities in leisure time of children during the summer.
2 .- To promote attitudes of tolerance and solidarity among children.
3 .- To facilitate through the activities, participation, exchange and collaboration among children.

The most common contents of the Summer School program will include activities and workshops related to the environment, theater, dance, art, ornaments, sports, movies, stories, puppets, etc. diversity.
