The Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, and the president of the Boxing Federation of the Region of Murcia, Benjamin Abellán, this morning signed an agreement which will enable the Federation to use the Prince of Asturias and the flag of Bacons Bridge for free conduct exhibitions and competitions.
The Council aims to provide sports facilities to the Federation to keep the fans and the promotion of the practice of boxing in Murcia.
The Federation will hold a monthly day in Hall Bacons Bridge Tower, and do some events in the Prince of Asturias.
With this agreement, the Federation will hold two evenings to fourteen, four at the Prince of Asturias and ten in the flag of Bacons Bridge.
The City Council supports the ambitious project of the Federation of Boxing for the widespread practice of this sport among the young.
Under the agreement, the City Council gave the two free facilities Boxing Federation, leaving to join the municipal coffers 6,000 euros per year for such flags.
Along Abellán Cascales and have been Vice President of Boxing Federation, Andrew Ortiz, José Ortega Chumilla boxer, and the technical director of the Federation, José de Paco.
