Tomorrow Friday, the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be met twenty years, the March Monteagudo Pilgrimage to Christ in his second season.
In this 20 anniversary, is expected to double the number of attendees in recent years, which have been involved about 2,000 people.
The start will take place at 21 h.
from the Plaza de Santo Domingo in Murcia, where it will travel 4 kilometers along the Camino Viejo de Monteagudo, to meet with the residents of Monteagudo, who will welcome the pilgrims on the door 22'30 daily La Truth, which will be given red carnations and candles.

Twenty years wandering in old ways, twisting corners of our garden, up the hill, at the feet of Christ with open arms, where it takes place, arriving at midnight, solemn and emotional Mass, concelebrated by several priests and with the assistance of thousands of earnest citizens, including songs of praise, silent prayers, imploring peace and love Christ in an impressive manifestation of faith.
The solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, wrote John Paul II reminds us of the mystery of God's love for every man and woman.
And what better place for this remembrance, that the sharp hill crowned by the image of Christ, become a beacon of hope shining on all sides men and women of our geography Murcia.
In this 20 th anniversary, it is fair to remind the bishops of our Diocese of Cartagena-Murcia who lived through this journey with a real encouraging to his word, and its presence, to take active part in it: Monsignors Azagra, Ureña, Reig-Pla and Lorca Planes.
Also its creators and organizers, the superiors of the Society of Jesus, that in these years, worked with such enthusiasm and commitment: Forcada, Sánchez-Arjona, Matos, Espinosa and the present, Father Marco, not forgetting also the Jesuits Sánchez Blanco, Martin Moreno, and Father Murcia Sevilla, real drivers of the resumption of the Pilgrimage to the Christ of Monteagudo.
In these 20 years, more than fifty thousand people turned the Camino Viejo de Monteagudo, a place of meditation, where pray for the family, a source of unity, tolerance, poverty, forgiveness, harmony, hope, peace, fidelity to Christ.
Priest fidelity, represented at this year's figure of Father Bernardo Hoyos first diffuser SJ devotion in Spain of devotion to the Heart of Jesus, whose beatification took place in Valladolid, l8 day of last April.
