The University of Murcia bid for the 2010/2011 academic year a Master of Music Research, according to the agreement signed today between the educational institution and the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.
This official master-adapted to the Bologna-will last for one academic year (60 credits) and will have 25 seats, which will suck, so who is in possession of university degrees such as Bachelor of Music Education Specialist, the degree with a major in music and a BA in History and Science of Music, as coming from the Higher Degree studies in the Conservatory.
The Music Conservatory of Murcia, under the agreement signed today in Convalescence, undertakes to collaborate in the development of teaching, also providing facilities, resources and teaching materials.
The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca stressed the importance of this degree, for his "innovative and because it gives him a qualitative leap towards excellence in art education and research in the field of music."
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, welcomed the launch of an official master was not far and very positively evaluated the possibility that the teachers of the Conservatory to obtain a doctoral degree.
In this sense, the rector of studies and promoter of the agreement, Concepción Palacios, said that the need gira Conservatory of Murcia to offer specialized college and professional training.
