The University of Murcia promote the attendance of their students to the National Congress for the Environment CONAMA 10 "Summit on Sustainable Development, under the agreement signed in Convalescence the educational institution and conference organizer, CONAMA Foundation.
The agreement also foresees the participation of the University on the organization of the Summit, to be held in Madrid during the month of November this year, and their dissemination through institutional means and through brochures and posters among students.
The initiator of the agreement, the Dean of the Faculty of Biology Aitor Marín Arnaldo said that the University of Murcia will return five inscriptions of attending the conference that will give the opportunity to make submissions on this important event, where professionals from different disciplines analyze the environmental situation in Spain.
With the signatories, the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, and the president of the Foundation, Echagüe Gonzalo Méndez de Vigo, attended by other representatives of CONAMA and the academic institution, among whom was the rector of Coordination and Communication Maria Angeles Esteban, who enumerated some of the environmental activities undertaken within the project of sustainable campus.
