Alquibla IES La Alberca has a new sports center that will serve students at the school, schools and sports clubs, and all citizens in general, when the school day ends.
The new pavilion is fully completed and will be opened shortly.
The building is next to the IES, and occupies a plot of 3,000 square meters with a floor area of 1,400 square meters.
The sports center has an indoor sports hall with a 44x25 meter track, four locker rooms (female, male and two monitors), two stores, engine room, lobby and counseling.
The facade is brick and the continuous track surface of polyurethane.
The flag of the IES Alquibla an investment of more than 940,000 euros, of which 235,200 have been funded by the city of Murcia and the rest by the Higher Sports Council.
In addition, the City has new access to the sports and work undertaken.
The new road is parallel to the South Coast (La Alberca-road stretch of Santa Catalina).
Access investment amounted to € 75,000.
