The Seventh Forum on Quality Assessment of Higher Education and Research will be held in Murcia on 15 and 18 June.

The forum will discuss the new organization of university education and make an update of the current state of convergence in Spain and the rest of the European Union.

The objectives of this meeting include to disclose the plans of Spanish universities to foster research, quality and convergence, and dissemination of tools for assessing the quality of scientific research.

This forum will be inaugurated by the Rector of the University of Murcia José Antonio Cobacho along with Salvador Marín, Minister of Universities, Business and Research of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, has among its participants with Juan Jose Moreno Navarro, Director General University Policy of the Ministry of Education, who will speak on his doctorate in the EHEA, Federico Gutiérrez-Solana, President of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities, which refer to the classification and ranking of universities and José Ignacio Alonso , Assistant Director General of Planning, Research and Monitoring, Ministry of Science and Innovation, will speak on indicators and evaluation of National Plan I + D + I.

Other speakers will be Victoria Law, Director, National Evaluation and Foresight and Uli Lourdes Arana, Director General of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).

A total of five vice presidents of the University of Murcia participate in the forum inside the program Invited Symposia: Antonio Calvo Flores, Vice President for Business and Infrastructure, with the song "Sustainable Campus and campuses of excellence" while Concha Palacios Bernal, Vice-Chancellor Studies, speaks with the theme "Follow-up titles."

On the other hand, three vice presidents will coordinate as many round tables: José María Ruiz Gómez, Vice Chancellor of Faculty, is responsible for the panel on "Teacher Evaluation", John M.

Vázquez Rojas, Vice President for Research moderates entitled "Impact of the Spanish investigation," while Fernando Martín Rubio, Vice President of Strategic Development and Training, coordinated "systems of quality assurance in my study."
