The Department of Environment and Urban Quality is installing a fence on a stretch of North Coast in order to enhance the security and safety of cyclists.
This barrier, one meter high, is built of wood and has been placed along the bike path that runs parallel to the North Coast, particularly in the section linking the roundabout in front of the electrical substation Espinardo (in Avenida Juan Carlos I) and the roundabout intersection of the Avenida Costera Juan de Borbón.
In total, the section that features the new fence has a length of 1,150 meters.
This action is framed within the various measures that the Department of Environment and Urban Quality is implementing to ensure the safety of cyclists and pedestrians.
