Regional Section of the Spanish Society of Classical Studies (SEEC), chaired professor at the University of Murcia María Consuelo Alvarez, is organizing a morning, day 1, until 4 June, the Odyssey IV Classic, an online contest for students of Latin and Greek of 1 high school and 4 of the ESO.
In addition, all secondary students in the Region of Murcia which are registered in Greek II and / or Latin II may participate on Thursday, June 4 at the Olympics in Classical Languages prepared by the SEEC.
The test consists in translating a text in Latin and one in Greek and will be held in the Lecture Hall 1.3 of the Merced.
Prizes for both contests will consist of vouchers for the purchase of books and teaching material, and also those who get first place in each of the tests of the Olympics, will enjoy free tuition during the first year of the degree Classical Philology at the University of Murcia.
