Applying socio-emotional skills to work and the perception and expression of emotions have been some of the issues addressed in the course entitled "Emotional Intelligence in action: applying socio-emotional skills to work 'developed at the UCAM.
Aimed especially at the senior management of the University, has been given by experts from the University of Malaga, Pablo Fernandez and Natalio Extremera.
During the 27th and 28th May in San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) has been a course on emotional intelligence, theoretical and practical.
To this end, we have developed various conferences and workshops on emotional intelligence, positive psychology, and the application of emotional intelligence in the employment context, among other issues.
On the other hand, there have been multiple workshops of perception and expression of emotions, emotional understanding and emotion regulation, among other things.
Through the workshops, participants have tried to train their own emotional abilities to apply the theoretical concepts presented in lectures, and also know the different procedures and techniques for improving these skills in their work and personal life.
The meetings have concluded with an overview of findings and opening a general debate moderated by the trainers, about emotional intelligence skills created.
The primary aim of the course is for participants to continue coaching emotional intelligence and that they watch the difficulties to get it.
