Councillor UI + LV in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today denounced the "excess" of paperwork that has to overcome a user to rent a bicycle in public ownership, such as giving a deposit of 200 euros, a photocopy of your ID and pay service with a credit card.
Herguedas said that these arrangements "seem aimed at making deter potential users that encourage bicycle use, as proposed, ironically, that the city of Murcia" give a prize to whoever gets overcome all the requirements ".
"The council has given up the bike designed as public transportation, which is the formula that runs successfully in cities that have made a serious way to integrate the town bike" said, noting that his group will require reports papers on the use of this service.
