Boxing Federation of Murcia used the Prince of Asturias and Bacons Bridge pavilion for exhibitions and competitions, according to a cooperation agreement with the city of Murcia.

The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, aims to provide sports facilities to the Federation to keep the fans and the promotion of the practice of boxing in Murcia.

The Federation will hold a monthly day in Hall Bacons Bridge Tower, and do some events in the Prince of Asturias.

The City Council supports the ambitious project of the Federation of Boxing for the widespread practice of this sport among the young.

Moreover, Murcia will host the sixth stage of the Tour of Spain.

The city will be the arrival of the sixth stage on September 2, and from the seventh stage on 3 September.
