Murcia City Council has joined the award of the Gold Medal of the Region of Murcia Paricio Parrilla Pascual, head of the Department of Surgery, Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca and Professor of Surgery at the University of Murcia.

His intensive research has become an international scientific reference.

Similarly, the Board of Governors has given its approval for membership of the City Council to grant the title of Son of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno Espinosa, director of the Foundation Cajamurcia for his work on behalf of Murcia.
